How to:- Remove stubborn stain

Heartbroken to see your favourite expensive desinger top stained? Here are some tips and tricks on how to remove stubborn stains even when you're out and far away from your washing machine =) One thing I really don't get is why must all detergent adds are associated with football/soccer =.=

Ground and mud from uniform and play clothes

-Knead bar soap or liquid detergent designed for spot cleaning into stained area. If this fails to remove stain, it may indicate that iron (that often present in reddish soil) has adhere to the fabric.

-Your detergent alone is not enough so these stains will not wash out easily. Put it to wash with fabric stain remover and laundry detergent.

White top ruined by color run?

-Firstly find the culprit that caused the color run to prevent a recurring problem. Re-wash your top using a dose of stain remover with detergent.

-For a little cleaning boost, add a stain remover with extra whitening ingredients such as Vanish Crystal White.

Baby’s vomit stain

-Milk stains, sweat and mucous stains are protein stains and tough to remove. Scrape off the excess material.

-Pre-treat in detergent and stain remover solution, rub gently to loosen stain. Soak aged stains for several hours. If color stain remains, launder as usual with a dose of stain remover.

Stain your clothes while away from home?

-Water soluble stains (tea, coffee, juice): Use a wet tissue to damp the stains. Next, use a dry tissue to blot the stain. Repeat the steps several times if needed. Blot well to remove all waters.

-Greasy stains (food gravy, salad dressing): Use a dry tissue to soak up as much grease as possible. Use a wet tissue to damp the stains. Don’t rub as this can spread the stains. If you can find some soap/detergent, pat some onto the stains with the wet tissue. Then blot it with a damp tissue. Remove all water with a dry tissue when done. Once back home, treat the dried-in stain with pre-treatment stain remover and wait for a few minutes for solution to penetrate stain. Then add a dose of stain remover to the detergent and wash as usual.
